UAE, 6 March 2013: TVM Capital MENA, a leading private equity firm focusing on investments in the regional healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, has announced the appointment of Sameer Al Ansari to its Board of Directors.

Mr. Al Ansari, Founder and CEO of PEPlus Advisors was previously the Chief Executive Officer of SHUAA Capital psc; before which he helped to establish Dubai Holding in 2004 and founded Dubai International Capital (DIC) where he served as Chairman and CEO for several years. He previously served as Group CFO for The Executive Office of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. As one of the region’s most prominent business figures, Mr. Al Ansari was also recently announced as a Board Member for Hawkamah, the Institute for Corporate Governance, a regionally recognized driver of corporate governance reform. He is a member of the Board of the DIFC Authority and DIFC Investments, as well as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (England & Wales) and a member of the MENA Advisory Board.
